Cook Jobs
We’re looking to fill our cook jobs! Interested candidates must be passionate, organized, and self-motivated. Candidates must also have a strong desire to learn and grow in addition to strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times.
- Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
- Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas.
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8-hours in length.
- Exert physical effort in lifting/transporting at least 50 pounds. Push/pull carts and equipment up to 150 pounds.
- Job involves working under variable temperature conditions and noise levels.
- Culinary degree is preferred but not required.
Skills & Experience
- Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed.
- Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products.
- Possess sufficient dexterity to use all kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work with cutlery in a proficient, safe and swift manner.
- Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner.
- Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
- Stock and maintain designated food station(s).
