Associate Attorney – Commercial Litigation
Denver Tech Center (DTC) – Colorado
A dynamic and growing commercial litigation firm in the Denver Tech Center is seeking an Associate Attorney with litigation experience, ideally focused on insurance-related matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to manage all aspects of complex litigation cases and work directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle insurance-related litigation, including coverage disputes, personal injury cases, premises liability, and bad faith claims
- Investigate and defend first- and third-party claims
- Take and defend depositions, draft dispositive motions, and attend court hearings (state and federal courts)
- Draft coverage opinions and conduct examinations under oath
- Manage cases from pre-litigation through trial and appeal
- Provide strategic legal analysis and recommendations to clients
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Colorado
- 2-5 years of litigation experience, with an emphasis on insurance-related cases
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects, work independently, and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with legal technology tools
- Collegial, collaborative, and creative thinker with a positive attitude
What We Offer:
- Salary: $110,000 - $185,000 (based on experience)
