Our client, a prestigious government agency, is seeking an RA Specialist for a temp-to-perm opportunity.

We are looking for individuals who are particularly interested in working with various not-for-profit organizations and who are committed to engaging in rewarding work that will greatly benefit New York City.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday

Flexible work hours (37.5 hours/week)

Hybrid Schedule: 3 days on-site and 2 days remotely

Hourly Rate:

$27 - $52 (commensurate with experience)

Downtown Manhattan

EEO Investigator
The  Investigator will be assigned to the ACS Office of Equal Employment Opportunity (OEEO). The EEO Investigator will be responsible for investigating ACS employees’ discrimination and/or harassment complaints under the City of New York’s Equal Employment Opportunity Policy. The EEO Investigator’s duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Interview parties and witnesses
  • Request and review relevant documents and evidence
  • Analyze allegations and facts within the framework of the City’s EEO Policy
  • Make recommendations related to investigations
  • Draft investigative reports
  • Perform other functions related to the position, as needed
  • Must be admitted to the New York Bar

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience conducting EEO investigations
  • Familiarity with the NYC Equal Employment Opportunity Policy
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Close attention to detail
  • Experience providing guidance with a human-centric, operations support and customer service approach
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace
